The short version: we collect what we need to run Kreator for you, we don't sell it, we don't run ads, and you can take it all with you or delete it whenever you like.
What we collect
- Account: your email, name, and a password (stored hashed by our database provider — we never see it).
- Creator profile: your niche, the platforms you post to, your posting goal, reminder settings and time zone.
- Your work: pieces, ideas, hooks, inspirations (including links you paste), scripts and their earlier versions, shot lists, captions, publishing dates, post links and the results you log.
- Usage counts: how many Kreator generations and new pieces you've used, to apply the free-week and fair-use limits.
- Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe holds your card details. We only keep your Stripe customer ID, plan, renewal date and subscription status.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — database and sign-in. Your account and work are stored here.
- Vercel — hosts the app.
- Google (Gemini) — when Kreator generates something for you, the text needed for that request (for example your niche, the idea or script you're working on, or a video description you wrote) is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. We use Google's paid API, under which Google doesn't use this data to improve its products. We send only what that tool needs, and never your email or payment details.
- Resend — sends sign-in, reminder and account emails.
- Stripe — takes payments.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us. Some are based in, or use servers in, the United States and other countries; they protect data in transfer under their own legal safeguards.
How we use it
- to run the tools you use, show your work back to you and send the reminders you've turned on;
- to apply your plan and send emails about your account and the free week;
- to see, in aggregate, which parts of Kreator get used, so we know what to improve;
- to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your work to train AI models.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account (Settings → Account) and your profile and everything you made are deleted straight away; any backup copies our providers hold are removed on their normal schedule. Two things are kept on purpose:
- a one-way scrambled fingerprint (a hash) of your email, so the same person can't claim another free week — it can't be turned back into your email;
- payment records at Stripe, which we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
Your choices and rights
- See and take your data: Settings → Account → Export gives you everything you made, in one file.
- Correct it: edit anything in the app, or your profile in Settings.
- Delete it: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- Emails: turn reminder emails off in Settings → Reminders. Account and billing emails are sent while you have an account.
Depending on where you live you may have more rights — for example to object or complain to your data protection authority. Write to us at hello@usekreator.com about anything here and we'll answer within 30 days.
